Cala Portinatx

Cala Portinatx

Date Visited
May 2012

A large anchorage with lots of sandy patches. The weed patches are quite thick though and not good holding for CQR anchors. It is very protected apart from a northerly wind and gets very busy with cruiser over night, try and get there before 4pm to ensure a good spot.

Several beaches with pedalos.

There are two little supermarkets both just behind the beach, they are expensive and they do not have much fresh food but good enough.

There are lots of bar and restaurants on the beach but none that we would recommend. There was however a great looking beach bar on the smallest beach on the east but it closes in the evening.
