Porto ColomGoogle Map Date Visited March 2012 Approach and Entrance One of the best natural harbours on the island. No real hazards. Mooring Buoy The mooring buoys were very difficult to pick up here as they have no leading buoy to get hold of and the connection line tends to get wrapped up. Very much worth the effort though as it is a lovely, quite and unspoilt fishing town with a great waterfront selection of bars and restaurants. Berthing Charges We were supposed to pay around €1 a metre per night however we could not find anyone to pay. We went to the harbour office 3 times and it was closed each time. We would not recommend leaving without paying as we found out at the next port that all council moorings have a central office and can ban you from all of marinas. |
