There are two small marinas but they can only take boats up to 12m and it is very shallow.

Mooring Buoys
There are lots of mooring buoys at the far end of the bay but they are all illegal and none of them are official. 

Fornells is a massive anchorage but it is not as sheltered as it looks the land around is very flat and nothing stop the wind. Also being so big swells can build up in the bay even with wind from the south, it is possible to have 1m waves in the bay from the south. The holding is also extremely poor, the weed is very thick and anchoring is in 7-9m.

There are many restaurants on the waterfront and they all specialise in spiny lobster stew, about €70 a portion.
